Chef Sergio Steele founded White Gold after a
10-year career as a renowned executive chef and nutritional expert. After
beginning his career working in the luxury dining scene in Palm Beach, Steele
developed a deep appreciation for seafood. He was handpicked from a pool of more
than 50,000 chefs to perform as a top 14 chef on season one of Gordon Ramsay’s
"Next Level Chef" that premiered on Fox in 2022.
Steele founded White Gold Pink Himalayan Sea
Salt Blend out of a desire to bring elevated flavors to professional kitchens
and homes around the world. He spent years catering to the needs of the most
sophisticated diners in the world while working for elite restaurants and
brands throughout his career. These experiences inspired him to create a way
for ordinary people to enjoy five-star dining experiences at home when
preparing meals for family members and dinner guests. While he had access to
the best spices in the world, he found that even the most expensive seasonings
being used in many Michelin-rated restaurants were still masking or competing
with food flavors he wanted to enhance.
Unsatisfied with the salty, overpowering
blends that left all seafood dishes tasting the same, Steele began
experimenting with seasoning blends that used flavorful, natural pink Himalayan
salt as a base. Each batch of White Gold Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Blend is made
in collaboration with world-class suppliers. Customers have come to know this
brand for its exceptional quality and unmatched flavor profile.
